Ever since Mark Stoops stepped foot on campus in Lexington as Kentucky’s new head football coach, the off-season has become quite the exciting time.

Until wins start to rack up, the potential of landing big time prospects is what fuels the Big Blue fan base and keeps their hope alive. Recruiting is without a doubt the most important component of rebuilding a program, especially an elite-level SEC football program.

While Mark Stoops and company remain hard at work on the recruiting trail tracking down 2015 prospects, there is nobody better suited to keep it all organized than Rivals.com’s Justin Rowland.

KSTV’s Mark Krebs talks with Justin about the one that got away, a surprise prospect, and the future of UK’s defense.
