Five-star 2017 point guard Quade Green has committed to Kentucky. Green just picked the Wildcats at his high school’s “Hoops’ Madness” event. Green chose Kentucky over Syracuse and is the fourth top-50 player to join Kentucky’s 2017 class in the last week and a half.

Green is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is the No. 4 point guard in Scout.com’s 2017 rankings. He is the No. 25 overall player in the class.

Scout.com’s Evan Daniels told KSTV, “Adding Quade Green gives Kentucky a very gifted passer and well balanced scorer. He proved in the EYBL he can run a team, as evident by leading the league in assists, but he’s also a very good scorer from mid-range and three.”

Kentucky’s 2017 class now has three five-star prospects—Nick Richards, PJ Washington and Quade Green—and one four-star prospect in guard Shai Alexander.
