06/11/2016 12:00 PM

We’ve already previewed for you the point guard spot for next year’s, led by De’Aaron Fox.

Next up, shooting guards:

Here’s what we know.

Malik Monk:
-From Bentonville, Arkansas
-Play for Bentonville High School
-Stands at 6’ 3”, weighs 185 pounds
-Ranked 9th by ESPN, 13th by Scout, 11th by 247 Sports
-Brings athleticism to the position, solid 3-point shooter (can be streaky)

Isaiah Briscoe (if you want to classify him as a shooting guard):
-Returning for his sophomore season
-Averaged 9.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game last season
-Strong defender, needs to improve shooting to really stretch the defense when he’s on the floor

Mychal Mulder:
-Entering his second season at UK
-Played in 24 games for UK last season
-Averaged 0.5 points, 1.2 rebounds per game last season.
-Will likely be behind Monk and Briscoe.

TJ and Bradley discussed more about what each player will bring to the table. Monk and Briscoe are both expected to start next season, giving UK a quick, athletic lineup that can really get up and down the floor.
