Poor Practice Presents Opportunity For Veterns To Lead

The UK football team will be back on the field Saturday for a scrimmage, which comes on the heels of a performance so bad, Mark Stoops said they could be in for a long year without improvement. But the poor performance and the quick turnaround also presents opportunity for the team’s veterans to show they’re ready to lead and can handle the adversity that is sure to come in bunches this year. Defensive coordinator DJ Eliot, as well as two of his leaders, thinks their group will be ready.
