Offensive Update: Neal Brown Talks Max Smith, Running Backs and Offensive Line

The UK football team is almost a week into their fall camp as they prepare to take the field in their first season under Mark Stoops. There are still questions surrounding the quarterback position, where three players are battling for the job and offensive coordinator Neal Brown addressed the team limiting the reps of quarterback Maxwell Smith.

Though Brown’s offense is known for its passing proficiency, the running game is going to be a big factor, especially in year one. Brown talked about the group of running backs he has to work with and explained why he likes them so much.

The action all starts up front though and with two prominent pieces now graduated, Brown discussed putting together an offensive line that features players helping at multiple positions.
