NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Five-star small forward Jayson Tatum is ready to make his college choice and has confirmed he will pick a school within the next two weeks.

The No. 3 ranked player in the nation according to said at the Nike Peach Jam tournament on Thursday that his decision could come before the end of the tournament, with his final list including Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, and the hometown St. Louis Billikens.

After leading team USA to gold at the FIBA U19 World Championships in Greece last week, Tatum flew back home to the states, jumped on another plane to South Carolina, and has spent the past two days shredding Peach Jam nets against the best high school players in the nation.

The versatile 6-foot-8 forward is averaging better than 27 points and 11 rebounds over his first two games, once again validating his billing as one of the best players in a talented crop of seniors.

Adding to the intrigue of Tatum’s pending pick is the possibility that his commitment could be a package deal with fellow 2016 recruit Harry Giles — No. 1 ranked player in the nation.

Kyle Tucker of The Courier-Journal joined KSTV on Friday to discuss Tatum and Giles’ upcoming decisions and Kentucky’s chances at landing the top-ranked duo.
