NFL CATS | Cobb, Packers suffer first loss of the season

NFL REWIND — Former Kentucky Wildcat Randall Cobb and the Green Bay Packers (6-1) suffered their first defeat of the season on Sunday night, losing 29-10 on the road to the Denver Broncos (7-0) in a battle of undefeated teams.

Cobb finished with a team-high six catches for 27 yards as fellow former Wildcat Danny Trevathan and the Denver defense held Green Bay to a season-low 140 yards of offense. Trevathan contributed two tackles to the Broncos’ league-leading seventh victory of the season.

Kentucky alum Tim Mathsay punted five times for the Packers, averaging 46.2 yards per kick, including one pinned inside the 20-yard line.
