New Mexico State Coach says Kentucky is a "Typical SEC Team"

09/15/2016 07:45 PM

New Mexico State head coach and former Kentucky quarterback Doug Martin knows that while Kentucky has struggled so far this season, they are still a very good football team.

“They’re a typical SEC football team,” said Martin. “They’ve got speed all over the field.”

Martin described Kentucky’s corners as big and physical, and expects the defensive line to cause problems for their offensive line. He also expects a strong performance on Saturday from the offense, noting depth at both running back and wide receiver for the Wildcats.

Martin took some time to talk with us tonight as he gets his team prepared for Saturday.
