03/15/2018 06:57 PM

The Wildcats of Kentucky (24-10, 10-8 SEC) face the Wildcats of Davidson (21-11, 13-5 Atlantic 10) Thursday night at 7:10 p.m. eastern on CBS. The game will be played in Boise, Idaho as five-seed UK takes on 12-seed Davidson in the first match-up of the South Region inside Taco Bell Arena on the campus of Boise State University.

Major match-up predictors give Kentucky the edge over Davidson, but Davidson is tenth in the nation at made three-point attempts, which could give the young Wildcats team a run for their money.

The Davidson players in their locker room Wednesday weren’t phased by facing the blue-bloods of college basketball.

The Kentucky players discussed if they felt that they are peaking at the right time, the SEC and NCAA tournaments and previewed Davidson.

Winner of UK/Davidson plays the winner of Arizona and Buffalo on Saturday.
