NBA Summer League Update: Ulis not messing around

07/11/2016 08:00 PM

The Las Vegas Summer League, which got underway on Friday, features eight former Wildcats.
-Boston Celtics: James Young
-Cleveland Cavaliers: DeAndre Liggins
-Denver Nuggets: Jamal Murray
-Phoenix Suns: Tyler Ulis & Devin Booker
-Memphis Grizzlies: Andrew Harrison
-Sacramento Kings: Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere

The most impressive of the group right now is the combination of Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis. Booker, who is absolutely dominating the summer league right now (26.0 PPG, 6.5 APG), is now reunited with Tyler Ulis, who hasn’t looked like he’s missed a beat moving from college to the pros. The former All-American is averaging 10.5 points and 6 assists per game through two summer league games, including an amazing 12:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Lachlan and Bradley discussed Ulis’ jump to the NBA, Skal’s versatility for Sacramento and Jamal Murray’s early shooting struggles.
