In the wake of UK’s 33-10 loss to Missouri Saturday, pressure has intensified around UK athletics director Mitch Barnhart to make a statement about the head coaching situation. In a conversation this morning, a UK representative said that Barnhart’s plans have not changed and he will not speak about Joker Phillips’ job security until an evaluation has occurred after the season.

In almost three seasons as UK’s head coach, Phillips has compiled a 12-22 overall record. The Cats are 4-18 in SEC games during his tenure.

I think they both should go. Pay the money to bring in a top notch coach. The fans deserve better. If they bring joker back the fans will vacate commonwealth stadium even more.
