Marquis Teague On School Is Cool Tour
05/24/2013 08:10 AM
The School is Cool tour marches on. Marquis Teague is the next former Cat to visit elementary schools across the state talking to students and signing autographs.
After their first stop at Warner Elementary, KSTV’s Thomas Beisner caught up with Teague to talk about his first year in the NBA and why it’s so hard to play point guard for John Calipari.
The School is Cool tour lets students get an up-close and personal talk with some of the favorite and famous former Wildcats.
The mastermind behind the tour is former Wildcat Jeff Sheppard, who played under Rick Pitino and Tubby Smith. Thomas Beisner also chatted with Jeff about what it means to the children to meet these Kentucky greats and why it’s important to him to set up these tours.
Just like with DeMarcus Cousins, the students got an opportunity to ask Marquis Teague any question that popped into their mind.
And one last question for Marquis… Kids say the darndest things!
