Kentucky still finalizing roster for 2017-2018 season

Assuming Bam Adebayo stays in the NBA draft, Kentucky is losing eight of its top nine scorers from last year’s team.

Kentucky currently has 10 scholarship players on the team. The Cats have four guards in Quade Green, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jemarl Baker and Hamidou Diallo. The forwards are Jarred Vanderbilt, PJ Washington, Sacha Killeya-Jones and Wenyen Gabriel, with Nick Richards being the only true center on the roster. Kentucky is still after five-star center Mohamed Bamba, Pitt grad transfer Cam Johnson and four-star guard Mark Smith.

TJ Beisner and Bradley McKee take a closer look at what additions still need to be made to Kentucky’s roster.
