Kentucky Ranked Fourth in USA Today Coaches Poll

For the eighth straight year, Kentucky is ranked in the top 10 heading into the season under John Calipari.

The USA Today Coaches Poll was released today and has the Wildcats ranked No. 4 in the country behind Villanova, Kansas and Duke. Kentucky received two first place votes. The Wildcats are the only SEC team ranked in the top 25.

Five of Kentucky’s 2016-2017 opponents open up the season ranked. The Wildcats will face off against No. 9 Michigan State on November 15, No. 20 UCLA on December 3, No. 6 North Carolina on December 17, No. 14 Louisville on December 21 and No. 2 Kansas on January 28.
