Kentucky pounds Clarion in first exhibition game

The UK basketball team finally had a chance to play against someone other than themselves and they handled their business just about as well as they could have. The Cats blew out John Calipari’s alma mater, Clarion, 108-51.

Bam Adebayo led the way with 14 points and 13 rebounds and Malik Monk was the top-scorer with 15 points. Freshman point guard De’Aaron Fox finished with 12 points and 7 assists, while Sacha Killeya-Jones added 12 points and 3 boards. It was Isaiah Briscoe, though, who had maybe the most complete game, scoring 11 points and dishing out 11 assists, all while playing his trademark defense.
