Kentucky looking for balanced offensive attack against Tennessee

Kentucky football is gearing up for another big game on Saturday against Tennessee. The Wildcat offense is coming off of a strong performance on the ground against Georgia and they are looking to continue that momentum against a Volunteer defense that is allowing 191.7 yards per game on the ground.

Eddie Gran spoke Tuesday night about the challenge of preparing for Tennessee’s defense.

“They’re really good. They’re really athletic,” said Gran. They do a great job on defense. You see the guys up front. They’ve got, Barnett’s a great pass rusher and the other ones are, too. I think they’re athletic at the linebacker position, too. It will be a great challenge for us, No. 1 being on the road again and then a really good football team.”

Gran went on to say that the offense has to be balanced this week. How should Kentucky balance rushing and passing the ball against Tennessee? We discuss.
