Kentucky Left Out Of NCAA Tournament Field

03/17/2013 04:54 PM

The UK basketball team is bound for the NIT after failing to hear their name called during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. The Cats, who fell to Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinals and finished with a 21-11 record, find themselves outside of the NCAA Tournament bracket for the first time since 2009 and only the second time since 1979. They will find out their opponent tonight at 9pm.

Be sure to stay tuned to KSTV and all week as we prepare you for UK’s NIT run.
