Kentucky holds off Troy, 70-62

Again, it left a lot to desired from an execution standpoint, but again, the Kentucky Wildcats walked away with a victory, this time beating Troy, ___, at Rupp Arena.

The Cats looked superior to Troy in the first half, though they still struggled to execute at a high clip, taking a 41-25 lead into the break. But, just as they have at several points this season, Kentucky did not put together two consistent halves of basketball and the Cats were forced to hold off a late rally by Troy.

Kevin Knox led the way with 17 points and 5 rebounds, while Quade Green (13) and Wenyen Gabriel (12) also scored in double digits.

The Cats return to action Wednesday night. Tune in to KSTV Tuesday for a full recap.
