Kentucky hangs on to beat Wichita State in thriller

Survive and advance. That’s the motto for Kentucky in the NCAA tournament, as the second-seeded Wildcats hung on to beat 10th-seeded Wichita State, 65-62. The game featured 11 lead changes, with the Wildcats biggest lead of the game being seven points with four minutes left in the game. Wichita State cut Kentucky’s lead to one-point with less than a minute left. Kentucky’s defense stepped up and Bam Adebayo blocked Landry Shamet’s last-second three-point attempt to seal the victory.
