HOOVER, AL — The 2015 college football season may still be two months away, but Big Blue Nation got an early peek at who could be starting for the Wildcats this season when the University of Kentucky released its 2015 post-spring depth chart on Monday at SEC Media Days.

Of course, nothing is final until after fall camp, but the post-spring roster lists interesting position battles on both sides of the ball with several notable first-string spots still up for grabs.

On offense, Patrick Towles and Drew Barker are listed as equals in their ongoing quarterback battle from spring practices.

The running back rotation remains undecided as well, with Boom Williams, Jojo Kemp, and Mikel Horton all listed on the top line.

And on defense, middle linebacker is the position most in flux, with Josh Forrest, Nico Firios, Dorian Hendrix, and Courtney Love all in contention to win starter duties this fall.

KSTV broke down the post-spring depth chart on Monday’s show, dissecting the top position battles to watch going into fall camp.
