Kentucky Football has officially released its list of February signees, and head coach Mark Stoops calls this year’s class “a home run.”

February Signees

Allen Dailey, Wide Receiver, 6-3, 195, Fr-HS, Pinson, Ala. (Pinson Valley)
*Three-star prospect by all the major recruiting services
*No. 178 overall wide receiver and No. 36 overall prospect in the state of Alabama by 247sports
*Caught 80 passes for 1,441 yards and 23 receiving touchdowns as a senior in helping Pinson Valley finish 15-0 and win the 2017 Class 6A championship over Wetumpka
*His 23 receiving touchdowns tied for second in Alabama High School Athletic Association single-season history
*His 1,441 receiving yards also ranks among the state’s top-10 single seasons in AHSAA history
*Added his 24th touchdown of the season on an interception return
*Named to the 2017 Super All-State Football Team
*Earned Class 6A first-team All-State honors by the Alabama Sports Writers Association
*Coached by Patrick Nix
*Caught 33 passes for 445 yards and three touchdowns as a junior
*Also an excellent basketball player
*Chose UK over Louisville, UAB and Arkansas State
*Goes by the first name “Allen” instead of his given name “LiAllen”

Nick Lewis, Offensive Tackle, 6-9, 350, Fr-HS, Jacksonville, Fla. (The Bolles School)
*Three-star prospect by all the major recruiting services
*No. 53 offensive tackle nationally and the 111th-ranked prospect in the state of Florida by 247sports
*Helped the Bolles Bulldogs finish 8-4 in 2017 under first-year head coach Wayne Belger
*In 2016, under long-time head coach Corky Rogers, the Bulldogs went undefeated in the regular season and advanced to the state championship game
*Held 22 scholarship offers before ultimately choosing UK over Washington State

Chris Oats, Linebacker, 6-5, 220, Fr-HS, Cincinnati, Ohio (Winton Woods)
*Four-star linebacker by all the major recruiting services
*Ranked the No. 22 outside linebacker in the 2018 class by 247sports
*Led Winton Woods to a 13-2 overall record and an appearance in the Division II state championship game as a senior
*Coached by Andre Parker
*Named the Division II Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-Ohio by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association
*Totaled 79 tackles during the regular season and in five playoff games, had 60 tackles, including three interceptions and two touchdowns
*Reunites with high school teammate Mike Edwards
*Chose Kentucky over Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan State and Ohio State

Kavosiey Smoke, Running Back, 5-10, 225, Fr-HS, Wetumpka, Ala. (Wetumpka)
*Three-star recruit by all the major recruiting services
*Ranked the 29th-best running back in the nation by Rivals
*Selected to play in the 31st annual Alabama-Mississippi Football All-Star Classic
*Helped Wetumpka advance to the 6A Alabama state championship game for the first time in the school’s 115-year history
*Finished his senior season with 1,508 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns
*Earned Class 6A second-team All-State honors by the Alabama Sports Writers Association
*Rushed for 719 yards on 120 carries with nine touchdowns as a junior for the Indians, who finished 8-3
*Chose UK over offers from South Carolina, Auburn, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Missouri, Florida and Virginia Tech
*Coached by Tim Perry
