UK FOOTBALL | Cats earn redemption with redo after dark

LEXINGTON — After back-to-back poor practices that head coach Mark Stoops called “disappointing” and “simply not good enough,” the University of Kentucky football team redeemed itself after dark on Saturday evening with an impromptu session under the lights of the Tim Couch Practice Fields.
According to Twitter comments from UK coaches and players, the twilight redo was one of the best practices of fall camp and a night to remember for the rest of the 2015 season:
Best practice I've ever been apart of! You can't make this stuff up!! Movie esque.—

“We took a couple steps back [on Friday and Saturday’s scrimmage],” head coach Mark Stoops told media members on Sunday, “but last night, I really thought we gained all those steps back and then some.”
Hopefully, the Wildcats carry the new-found swagger into their next practice on Monday morning.
