Kentucky Falls To Vanderbilt In SEC Tournament
03/15/2013 08:40 PM
Every time the Wildcats made a run, Vanderbilt had an answer. The Commodores knocked Kentucky out of the SEC tournament and maybe the NCAA tournament by a score of 64-48.
Vanderbilt hit eight three-pointers and held Kentucky to shooting 35 percent from the field. Archie Goodwin and Kyle Wiltjer were the only two Cats in double figures with 12 points and 10 points respectively. Goodwin got UK within 11, leading a 10-0 run in the second half, but that was the closest Kentucky would get as pulled away and kept the Cats at bay.
It’s going to be a long wait until Sunday, and the Wildcats fate is out of their hands.
