The UK basketball team faced a tough 48-hour stretch with a road game in Arkansas and a quick turnaround for a home game with Vanderbilt. After putting the Razorbacks away with ease Thursday night, the Cats kept the momentum going with a 76-57 beatdown of Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Tyler Ulis (21 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds) and Jamal Murray (18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals) led the attack for the Wildcats, who jumped out to a ten-point halftime lead. A relentless attack in the second half shut down any chance for a Vanderbilt comeback, thanks in large part to a second-straight game with semi-consistent contributions from the big men.

Junior Alex Poythress scored 16 points, while junior Derek Willis continued his recent surge with 7 points and 9 rebounds. Marcus Lee added 6 points and 5 rebounds.
