Kentucky baseball looking to make history this postseason

With only three weeks left in the season, it is looking more and more like Kentucky will host a regional at Cliff Hagan Stadium. UK is currently projected to be a top-five national seed by both D1baseball.com and Baseball America.

D1baseball.com has Kentucky as the fourth overall seed, while Baseball America has the Cats as the third overall seed. If Kentucky does in fact land a top-five seed and gets past the regional, it will be the first time they have ever hosted a super regional. Coach Nick Mingione knows how special that would be for this program.
