Kentucky-Arizona State recap: Fox's Historic performance, 2015 team comparisons and more

11/29/2016 05:30 PM

History was made on Monday night, as De’Aaron Fox became only the second player in Kentucky basketball history to record a triple-double (14 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists). Fox’s performance was one of many strong showings from Kentucky players in the team’s 115-69 drubbing of Arizona State. Six Wildcats scored in double-figures, led by Malik Monk’s 23 points.

It was the third game in a row Kentucky scored at least 100 points. That hasn’t happened since the 1977-1978 season, when Kentucky won the title under Joe B. Hall. The Wildcats 33 assists in the game and 115 points scored were both new highs in the John Calipari era.

Mark Krebs joined Lachlan McLean to recap the victory.
