Keith Bogans and Jamaal Magloire Glad to be Back in Lexington

08/25/2017 12:47 PM

Former Cats Keith Bogans and Jamaal Magloire are back in Lexington for tonight’s Alumni Charity Game at Rupp Arena.

The two spent their Thursday evening with the Big Blue Nation, holding an autograph signing at the Fayette Mall in Lexington.

Bogans played guard at Kentucky from 1999-2002. He scored nearly 2,000 points in his career and was an All-American his senior season.

“It’s just always fun to come back,” Bogans said. “Playing here for four years was very special to me. It’s four years of my life that I’ll never forget. Anytime I get the opportunity to come back here to interact with the fans, to be on campus, I’m definitely going to take advantage of it.”

Magloire was a member of two national championship teams at Kentucky in 1996 and 1998. The former big man was a first-team All-SEC player his senior season.

“It feels great. I’m humbled to be back here. It’s been a while,” said Magloire. “Kentucky was a gateway for me to become a man and to become the person I am today. I’m very appreciative of that.”
