A Wildcat career is now in the books for former UK Hoops guard Kastine Evans. Although her senior year ended prematurely with a loss to Baylor in the Sweet 16, it was a great ride in Lexington.
Evans was a standout on the court for the Cats, but she was also a star in the classroom and in the community. She was named to the SEC’s academic honor roll a number of times and received a handful of awards that recognized her good character and community service.
Even in life after UK Hoops, she’s continuing to give back. Thursday she worked the Elite Skills Basketball Camp at Hoops in Louisville, instructing children on a number of basketball fundamentals.
During a break in the action, Evans spoke with KSTV about the camp, her time at Kentucky, the future of the Hoops program and more.
