It’s been a busy 24 hours for the UK football team in terms of recruiting and it brought some very good news as the Cats added two defensive backs to their 2018 recruiting class.

The first came last night from Stanley Garner, who is a four-star prospect according to Rivals and ranked as the #31 cornerback in the nation. The 6-foot-3 Fort Lauderdale native picked the Cats over Michigan, Alabama, Clemson, Louisville and Tennessee.

His commitment was followed up today by three-star corner Jamari Brown, who picked Kentucky over Auburn and Pitt. Brown is also a Florida native and spent time at camp with the Cats over the summer. The two verbals give Kentucky 18 commitments for the 2018 class.

Justin Rowland of Cats Illustrated joined KSTV to discuss what Garner and Brown will bring to Kentucky. They also discuss defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale’s role in recruiting and the latest with two other 2018 commits.
