Justin Rowland on Kentucky's In-State Recruiting Efforts

The UK football team is headed into their final week of prep as they get set to open the season next weekend against Southern Miss. The focus is on a chance to avenge last year’s loss, but recruiting remains a priority.

Kentucky’s 2018 class is yet to land a player from the state of Kentucky. The Cats are still after four-star DB Jarius Brents out of Waggener High School in Louisville. How important is in-state recruiting for Kentucky now that they have established bases in states like Ohio, Florida and Michigan?

KSTV’s Clayton Abernathy talked with Justin Rowland of Cats Illustrated and Rivals.com about the future of Kentucky’s in-state recruiting and which 2018 prospects the Cats are still after.
