Former Kentucky basketball player Josh Carrier is in his first year as an assistant coach for the Northern Kentucky women’s basketball team.

After spending the last 10 years working in the private sector and serving as an AAU coach, Carrier wanted to devote his full career toward coaching. When Northern Kentucky head coach Camryn Whitaker called to offer him an assistant position, he couldn’t refuse.

Bradley McKee caught up with Carrier to discuss his first year working for the NKU women’s program.
