Jojo Kemp hopes to change the perception of UK football

As a freshman, Jojo Kemp led UK with 482 yards on 100 carries and added three touchdowns. Even though it was an impressive first season statistically, the running back and his fellow teammates weren’t happy with a 2-10 record.

Heading into his sophomore season, Kemp is hoping to lead a major turnaround in the perception of the UK program. It began Saturday as the DeLand, Fla. native rushed for 93 yards and reached the end zone twice in front of a packed house at Commonwealth Stadium.
