With the regular season tipping off two weeks from tonight against Stephen F. Austin, the Kentucky basketball team is using their two exhibitions against Clarion and Asbury to finalize their starting lineup and rotation for the start of the season.

The Wildcats first exhibition is this Sunday against Clarion at 7 pm. John Calipari said in his press conference on Thursday that he was still figuring out the starting lineup.

“We’re going to try some different combinations,” Calipari said. “You ask me, ‘well, who’s going to start?’ I don’t know, I don’t know.”

The Kentucky basketball pregame notes listed a projected starting five for the Clarion game. It featured Isaiah Briscoe, De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Bam Adebayo and surprisingly Wenyen Gabriel. We discussed the potential lineup ahead of Sunday’s game.
