John Calipari Previews Game Against A&M

01/11/2013 04:46 PM

The Kentucky Wildcats don’t have much time to catch their breath. Texas A&M is already on their way to Lexington, coming off a dominating 69 to 51 win over Arkansas.

Head coach John Calipari called the Aggie squad big, strong and very physical with a three man as good as any in the league. Texas A&M seems to present many problems for the young Wildcats.

“They push the ball. They play both man and zone. They try to jam pick-and-rolls,” John Calipari said. “They’re a post-up kind of team, ala a little bit of Kansas, corner cuts and high-lows, screening from behind with big and big and trying to go from high to low. They’re going to go after our big people, that’s how they play. They’re a good team; they’re a really good team.”

Kentucky and A&M tip off tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. and the game will be on the SEC Network and ESPN3.
