Kentucky football needs to find another quarterback for its 2018 class, as quarterback commit Jarren Williams announced he is decommitting from Kentucky. Williams was Kentucky’s first commitment in the 2018 class, and has since picked up offers from Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Tennessee and LSU among others.

He made the announcement via twitter this afternoon: “After much thought and prayer, I have decided to decommit from Kentucky and open up my recruitment. This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I want to make sure that I make the best informed decision regarding my future.”

Williams is a three-star dual-threat quarterback according to Rivals dot com. TJ Beisner, Mark Krebs and Bradley McKee discussed Williams’ decision and what it says about the state of Kentucky’s recruiting.
