Jarred Vanderbilt's mindset heading into the season

Kentucky freshman forward Jarred Vanderbilt will miss the beginning of the season with a foot injury he suffered in late September.

Last week, John Calipari said that Vanderbilt’s injury would be re-evaluated soon and he could return sooner than expected. While injuries like this can be frustrating for athletes, this one isn’t worrying Vanderbilt.

“I wouldn’t say it’s frustrating,” said Vanderbilt during last week’s media day. “It’s just another learning experience and everything happens for a reason.”

T.J. Beisner and Bradley McKee discuss why they think Jarred Vanderbilt has the right mindset about his injury heading into the season.
