James Young and Julius Randle, where will they land?

06/25/2014 02:54 PM

The 2014 NBA Draft is now only two days away. Coverage on ESPN kicks off Thursday at 7 p.m. and the draft itself gets underway at 8 p.m.

The lead up to this year’s draft has been busier than most. A few weeks ago, news broke about a possible Julius Randle foot surgery stemming from an injury sustained in high school. Last week, projected #1 pick, Joel Embiid out of Kansas, broke his foot — opening the door for college teammate Andrew Wiggins and Duke’s Jabari Parker to potentially claim the top spot. Also, Baylor’s Isaiah Austin was forced to end his NBA career before it ever began when he was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome.

In short, much has changed over the past few months. As the stage gets set for Thursday, more news could break that might change the whole dynamic of the draft.

But in the meantime, here’s what we do know: both Julius Randle and James Young have been invited to the Green Room. The question is, where will the two former Cats ultimately land?

Mark Krebs and Jason Anderson of ESPN 680 in Louisville discuss the best fit for Randle and Young.
