Kentucky's offense hoping to put together complete performance against EKU

Kentucky’s offense struggled during last week’s 24-17 win over Southern Miss.

Eddie Gran’s group couldn’t sustain long drives and rushed for just 78 yards on 35 carries against the Golden Eagle defense. Ahead of the home opener against Eastern Kentucky, Eddie Gran talked about what he saw from his guys against Southern Miss on film.

“You know what? Technique and fundamental weren’t the greatest,” said Gran. “I thought that after the game and our operation — we really talked about that — Bunchy being there for the first time. That will get better. Usually from game one to game two it gets better. It really came down to fundamentals. We’ve got to get better.”

Gran is hoping that Kentucky’s offense has a much better showing on Saturday for the home opener against the Colonels.

TJ and Bradley discuss the potential of this Kentucky offense and how much better it can be this coming Saturday.
