Good or bad fit? Karl-Anthony Towns in Minnesota

NEW YORK CITY — For the first time in over a decade, the worst team had the best results at the NBA Lottery.
The Minnesota Timberwolves lost 66 games during the regular season but won big in the Big Apple on Tuesday night when the ping pong balls awarded them the top pick in the NBA Draft.
It’s the first time Minnesota has won the lottery in franchise history.
The Wolves entered the night with the best odds of winning at 25%, becoming the first team with the worst record to win the lottery since the Orlando Magic in 2004.
Orlando, of course, selected Dwight Howard with that No. 1 overall pick — a talented big man who led them to an NBA Finals.
Could Karl-Anthony Towns do the same in the North Star State?
Most draft projections currently list Towns as the Timberwolves top pick after his hometown Knicks fell back to the fourth spot.
