Gillispie To Attend Saturday's UK-Texas A&M Game

01/31/2013 08:32 AM

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Billy Gillispie, the former head coach at Kentucky and Texas A&M, will attend Saturday’s game between the two teams in College Station. Gillispie accepted an invitation from Aggies head coach Billy Kennedy, a close friend, to attend the game while in town to play golf.

Gillispie, who was fired by Texas Tech shortly before the season started after only one year in Lubbock, called John Calipari a friend in the story and said that after the game, he’ll be headed to Mexico to take part in a fishing tournament.

Get excited.
