Georgia demolishes Kentucky

Coming into today, many UK fans were hopeful the Wildcats would be able to keep pace with number 17 Georgia, and perhaps in the 4th quarter, score a go-ahead touchdown. Not only dd that NOT happen, but the game was effectively over in the first quarter. UGA jumped out to a 21-0 lead and cruised from there, beating UK easily 63-31. The loss drops Kentucky to 5-5 overall, 2-5 in the SEC. The Wildcats have now dropped 4 in a row. .
UGA Quarterback Hutson Mason had a career day throwing four touchdown passes. The Bulldogs again did not have suspended running back Todd Gurley, but they did not need him. Freshman Nick Chubb scored once and ran for 170 yards, as UK had troube stopping the UGA running game. With the win, Georgia improves to 7-2 overall, 5-2 in the SEC, as the Dawgs keep alive their hopes of an SEC East title.
The Cats were led by Boom Williams who ran for 100 yards plus a touchdown. Kentucky has two chances left to become bowl eligible by winning their sixth game. UK is at Tennessee next Saturday at 4pm. The Wildcats finish the regular season on November 29th at arch rival Louisville.
