UK coach John Calipari landed his second commitment of the 2016 class Wednesday morning with Virginia forward Sacha Killeya-Jones gave his word to the Cats.

Killeya-Jones, ranked by Scout.com as the nation’s 47th overall player and the ninth-best power forward in the class, decommitted from Virginia earlier this summer and also entertained offers from Kansas, North Carolina, Georgetown, Florida, UConn and others. He joins New Zealand big man Tai Wynyard, who could enroll at UK as early as this winter, as UK’s commitments in the 2016 class.

At 6’10” and 210 pounds, Killeya-Jones has mobility and touch that allows him to face up and attack from inside, according to Scout.com’s Evan Daniels. Be sure to watch KSTV tonight as we talk with Evan about Killeya-Jones’ commitment and how it affects the remainder of UK’s class.
