Former Wildcat and Atlanta Falcon Tight End Jacob Tamme has been recognized by the NFL Players Association for making a positive difference in the lives of U.S. military personnel and their families.
Each week, the NFLPA honors an NFL player who has recently demonstrated a commitment to giving back. In return, the NFLPA makes a charitable contribution to the player’s cause.
In recognition of Military Appreciation Month, Tamme treated 75 active military personnel and their families to a VIP experience at an Atlanta movie theater.
Giving back to American heroes is nothing new to Tamme. In July, Tamme and his wife hosted the sixth annual Swings for Soldiers event in Kentucky, which helps build homes for wounded soldiers.
