Former University of Kentucky basketball star and Agriculture Commissioner Richie Farmer has been released from prison.

Farmer was sentenced to 27 months in prison by a federal judge back in January of 2014 after pleading guilty to misusing state resources during his tenure as Ag Commissioner. He was ordered to pay a fine of more than $120,000. Farmer’s next stop is a halfway house in Kentucky.

Farmer was a member of The Unforgettables, the nickname for the ’91-‘92 UK basketball team.
