John Calipari has done it again. Kentucky’s already impressive 2016 class received another boost Tuesday morning when five-star center Edrice “Bam” Adebayo picked the Cats over offers from NC State, Kansas, North Carolina, Louisville and others.

The six-foot-nine center, rated by Scout.com as the nation’s #2 center, made the announcement on ESPN’s “Mike and Mike” radio show. He’s known for his physical play and is regarded as an exceptional athlete at the center position.

Adebayo joins top-ranked point guard De’Aaron Fox, five-star power forward Wenyen Gabriel and four-star power forward Sacha Killeya-Jones in Kentucky’s 2016 class. New Zealand big man Tai Wynyard, also a member of the 2016 group, enrolled in classes last week and will join the team for next semester.
