Five Cats Earn SEC Honors

UK freshman center Nerlens Noel was named SEC Defensive Player of the Year and the SEC Freshman of the Year today, as well as a member of the First Team All-SEC, as voted by the conference’s coaches. Noel is joined on the SEC All-Freshmen Team by teammates Archie Goodwin, Alex Poythress and Willie Cauley-Stein. Junior Kyle Wiltjer was tabbed as the conference’s Sixth Man of the Year.
