Duke "not a lock" for Harry Giles, Kentucky still in the running

LEXINGTON — Kentucky already made the cut, but is it still int he running?

Harry Giles, the No. 1 rated player for the Class of 2016, recently cut his list of schools down to five, and the Wildcats survived along with Kansas and hometown schools Wake Forest, North Carolina, and Duke.

Many analysts predict the five-star power forward will ultimately end up with the Blue Devils, especially after his close friend Jayson Tatum (No. 3 player in 2016) committed to Mike Krzyzewski’s squad earlier this month at the Nike Peach Jam tournament.

But Scout.com’s director of basketball recruiting, Evan Daniels, told KSTV today that nothing is set in stone, saying, “It’s too early to call Harry Giles a lock for anywhere.”
