Senior wide receivers Dorian Baker and Garrett Johnson are gearing up for big senior seasons. Both have had their ups and downs throughout the last three years, and they are working hard to make sure the 2017 season is one to remember.

Dorian Baker missed the first three games of last season with a hamstring injury. He Baker caught 14 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns in 2016. His first touchdown of the season was a big one — a 35-yard reception in the Louisville game that gave Kentucky a 38-31 lead in the fourth quarter.

Garrett “Juice” Johnson is Kentucky’s leading returning receiver. Johnson caught 39 passes for 585 yards and five touchdowns. Johnson is a big play receiver, who can stretch the field for Kentucky’s offense.

Interview with Baker:

Notable quote: “I’ll tell you like I’ve told everybody else, I’m cozy. There’s a difference between comfortable and cozy and right now, for me and where I’m at, I’m cozy. I’m observant and I’m handling my business.”

Interview with Johnson:

Notable quote: “Senior year, really seen it all. So now it’s just time to, personally, just put everything together. You know, continue to grow mentally. Everything I learn out here, just continue to apply to my daily strides each day and just be more mature, more of an adult.”
