Does the Kelly Olynyk deal impact Bam's role next season?

Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat open up play in Vegas on Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs.

Adebayo’s impressive play over the last week is a sign that he could have a big role in Miami’s frontcourt during his rookie season, but a recent move by the Heat could have an impact on that productivity.

Miami signed former Celtics big man Kelly Olynyk to a four-year deal worth over $50 million on Thursday. Olynyk, who came off the bench for Boston last season, averaged nine points and 4.8 per game last season, while shooting over 35 percent from beyond the arc.

Does this move impact Bam’s role next season?
