Does James Young have a future in the NBA?

07/07/2017 04:15 PM

Of the 12 former Wildcats playing in the Las Vegas summer league, James Young may have the most to prove.

Young is playing for the New Orleans Pelicans, who face off against Mychal Mulder and the Toronto Raptors at 6:30 p.m. The former Wildcat is playing for the Pelicans after the Boston Celtics decided not to pick up the fourth year of his contract during last season.

Young spent his first three years in the NBA with Boston, where he averaged just over two points and one rebound per game in eight minutes of action. It looks like time is running out for Young to be an impact player in the NBA.

Lachlan McLean and Bradley McKee discuss whether or not they think Young has a future in the league.
